Starry, Starry Night
~ Jellie to TJ ~

TJ had to go into the office on Saturday, leaving Jellie at home with time to create a Starry, Starry Night. She had been thinking of this since Christmas and had held back some of the clear tiny Christmas lights they used to decorate the tree. The master bedroom is quite large and she hoped there were enough lights to complete her project; Christmas lights are not easy to find this time of year!
She headed out to Wal-Mart to pick up yards of navy cotton fabric... and push pins, then headed home. She quickly sewed up the seams to piece together fabric to stretch across the ceiling. After that she stapled the lights onto the fabric, creating patterns of star clusters. With hundreds of lights attached, the next thing to do was to hang the fabric from the ceiling. Using the push pins she made the fabric form 'waves' onto the ceiling with the lights facing the ceiling and only the navy fabric showing from the floor. What a project!
She had bought three cases of candles after Christmas and put them all over the room to be lit at the right moment. Turning off the lights and closing the blinds, she plugged in the extension cord to turn on the stars. It looked great, but would look even better as the sun set.
She called TJ and asked if he'd like to go to a nice steak restaurant when he finished at the office. He agreed and told her he'd call her when he was on his way home. She hung up and started to get ready for the evening. About 5:10 he called to say he was on his way. She noticed it was nearly dark outside and tested the starry lights. The affect was terrific.
TJ picked her up and they went to dinner at one of their favorite steak houses. They enjoyed dinner and the band playing for a couple hours before heading home.
When they arrived back home, Jellie asked TJ to pour a couple glasses of wine while she went to change. She knew he was going to love the new outfit she had ordered. She asked him to wait in the living room and she'd be right back. She quickly changed, and began lighting all the candles. She plugged in the starry lights and the room turned into a heaven of lights. She put the remote for the stereo system next to the loveseat before leaving.
She opened the door to the bedroom, walked back into the living area and waited for TJ's eyes to express what he thought of her outfit. She smiled as the delight was obvious on his face. He handed her the glass of wine, bending over to kiss her lips as he passed her the glass. She asked if he'd like to go to the bedroom and sit on the loveseat to drink the wine. He did... she asked him to close his eyes as she opened the bedroom door and guided him in.
Once inside, with the door shut, she turned on the stereo and sat on the loveseat (or actually stretched out on the loveseat). She told him he could open his eyes... and he did. The hundreds of stars overhead and the flickering of many candles created a cozy warmth in the room. Jellie stretched out on the loveseat created hot passion in TJ. The rest of the evening is just like you probably are thinking, a wonderfully romantic night 'under the stars'.
